This privacy policy explains how joluteas.com collects and processes personal data.
The controller for the personal data we process is joluteas.com, by the general manager. In his absence, only employees of the company have access to this information.
Below you will find information about how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or buy from www.joluteas.com (the «website»), as well as your rights related to the processing of these.
We process information based on your consent, in accordance with article 6 no. 1 point a). The purpose and basis of processing your personal data is to fulfill our agreement with you, cf. GDPR article 6 no. 1 point b). We are also required to keep part of the information in connection with accounting and any warranty and return handling, article 6 no. 1 point c). As described below, we also use some of the information to improve our services.

1. PERSONAL DATA
When we talk about personal data in these privacy rules, we are talking both about information we get automatically when you visit the website and information you choose to give us.
1.1 Information you provide:
When you make a purchase, or attempt to make a purchase, through the website, we collect information from you that is necessary to be able to send your order and keep you updated, including your name, address, email address and phone number. We are also required by law to keep this information in connection with accounting and any warranty and return handling. This history is deleted when the purpose of the processing has ceased.
Credit card numbers are not stored with us, but with our payment partner Stripe. This is to ensure safe and efficient handling of any problems with charging, cancellation of reservation and crediting.
1.2 Information we receive:
When you visit the website, we automatically collect information about your device, including information about your browser, IP address, time zone. In addition, when you browse the site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, which sites or search terms you used to get to us, and information about how you interact with the site. This is to be able to track relevant changes, as well as learn what our customers are interested in and be able to improve our product range and our offers. We collect this information using cookies, log files and beacons, tags or pixels. «Cookies» are data files placed on your device or computer, and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. «Log files» track actions that occur on the website and collect data, including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages and date/time. «Web beacons», «tags» and «pixels» are electronic files that are used to record information about how you browse the website.
We store purchase history for 10 years in accordance with the Accounts Act, the Consumer Purchase Act and the Purchase Act.
Processing of information takes place in accordance with the requirements of current legislation and we have good routines and measures to secure personal information. Examples are risk assessments, archiving routines and access control.
2. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access your personal information we hold about you, and to request that your personal information be corrected, updated or deleted. Most of your personal information is available on «My Page» on the website. There you can make changes yourself. If you want access to other information than this, want to have all your stored personal data with us handed over, or you want to delete your user account, please contact us through the contact information at the bottom. We delete all of your personal data provided that we are not obliged to store them in accordance with current legislation or other obligations we have.
You can withdraw the consent you have given us at any time. You can find the consents on «My page».
You have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you feel that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with this declaration.
3. DATA PROCESSORS
We only give a third party access to the information if this is necessary to perform certain services for us, so that we can deliver our services to you. We do not sell or pass them on. These partners have strict agreements and rules to ensure security. Examples of data processors could be our payment provider, Stripe, and our transport agency, Bring, both of whom need to share information with in order for us to be able to carry out your order. Furthermore, we use Shopify to run our online store – https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the website (-Order information, product information, customer behaviour, tracking of source) – you can read more about how Google uses your personal information here: https://www.google .com/intl/no/policies/privacy/. You can also opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We use Trustpilot Inc, to get feedback on customer experiences (Email, order number), http://www.trustpilot.com/. We have Facebook to advertise on Facebook.com (Email, customer behavior, position, order information) and Mailchimp to send out newsletters (Email, order information). As these are partners from abroad, your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable Norwegian laws and regulations, or other legal requests for information we receive, or otherwise protect our rights.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated revision date.
